Intention of the work
Mimicking the movements and flight paths of bees as they carry honey, the fine lines evoke their motion, while the speckled honey globs accentuate its viscous texture. The shape of the character is based on the bee’s circling path, expressing a sense of natural movement.
Its delicate, sweet impression adds charm to the overall ambience of the text.
Winner’s Comment
I am grateful to receive this valuable award. This project has given me an opportunity to learn about the world of typography and realize how fascinating it is to understand and depict letters visually.
I look forward to continuing my work in type design and discovering new ways to express.
