We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks for your participation in the “Type Design Competition 2024.“ With your invaluable support, the competition has successfully concluded.
A total of 1,092 entries were received from 45 countries and regions around the world, including 173 entries in the Japanese script category, 480 in the Latin script category, 193 in the Simplified Chinese category, 92 in the Traditional Chinese category, and 154 in the Hangul category. Fifty works, including the winners of the Morisawa Award and the Fan Voting, were selected as winners.
We are grateful for the overwhelming number of submissions from around the globe.

On June 5, 2025, we held the awards ceremony at Kanda Myojin Hall, accompanied by a special lecture by Issay Kitagawa, offering an opportunity for typographic design exchange beyond language barriers.
